Expanded Energy Efficiency Incentives North Star Electric Cooperative has many excellent new residential and business rebates available for members who invest in certain energy-efficient products. Residential rebates include qualifying compact fluorescent light bulbs, clothes washers, electric water heaters, high efficiency furnaces and both geothermal and air-to-air heat pumps. Remember, certain criteria applies in order to receive the rebates. If you have questions as to whether or not a product qualifies, please call member services at 1-888-634-2202. Additional federal tax credits on energy efficient products may also be available. Members are encouraged to go to www.energystar.gov and click on Tax Credits.
